Abstract No. 32, Landscape at Dusk
Abstract No. 32 is a part of Lindsay Stephenson's second collection of paintings, the first release was in 2011.
"I'm inspired by colour and the layering of tones. Each painting in my Abstract Collection. No 2 is a layering process - almost akin to layering tissue paper in a collage. While painting I'm never quite sure where the painting will end up, or - be finished. I find that inspiration strikes, and I feverishly paint until I've gotten out all of my burst of inspiration. Colour is what guides the painting, and I often see nature and silhouette of nature in the final pieces.
Abstract No. 32 actually became one of my favourite pieces from the Collection No. 2 as it started to take shape as a landscape in my eyes, a blue tree against a dusk sky. " - Lindsay Stephenson
